Massive Honkai Star Rail 3.7 update adds Cyrene, easier farming

Honkai Star Rail‘s version 3.7 update introduces a new character, Cyrene, and includes several improvements to make collecting resources much simpler!

I’m so excited! Honkai Star Rail is getting updated to version 3.7, and they’re finally adding Cyrene as a character we can actually play! Plus, they’re making farming for materials way easier with some really helpful quality-of-life changes. Let’s check out everything new in this update!

Honkai Star Rail version 3.7 update

The Honkai Star Rail version 3.7 update “As Tomorrow Became Yesterday” is now live on all servers.

New character: Cyrene

Cyrene has arrived as the last of the Chrysos Heirs you can play as! She’s a powerful 5-star Ice character who boosts the abilities of your team.

Cyrene has a special bonus for each of the Chrysos Heirs, which makes her abilities quite extensive. You can find a complete list of her skills here.

She’s great at supporting Chrysos Heirs and works well with them, but she’s also capable of acting independently. If you focus on building her the right way, she can even become a damage dealer.

Easier farming and character building

Here’s an update for all Honkai Star Rail players: we’re making improvements to how you gather materials and build your characters, making those processes easier and more enjoyable.

You can now complete the Stagnant Shadow, Cavern of Corrosion, Ornament Extraction, and Echoes of War nodes repeatedly within the same play session. However, there are limits: you can do each node 8, 6, 6, and 3 times in a row, respectively.

For the Calyx nodes, the cap for consecutive runs is now 24 (up from 6).

In the new Currency Wars: Zero-Sum Game mode, players can use Fuel Vouchers to avoid battles.

Now you can easily reach the maximum level for your character’s Traces! With the new Quick Level toggle, a single click will upgrade them as long as you have the necessary materials.

We’ve made a couple of improvements to Light Cones! Now, when you upgrade 3-star Light Cones, they’ll stack automatically, making things tidier. We’ve also made it easier to see which Light Cones are recommended for you.
