The upcoming comic series will focus on Wanda defending her position as the Sorcerer Supreme against several opponents. It’s understandable that Marvel wants to build excitement for their new series and showcase Scarlet Witch’s evolving story. She’s very popular thanks to the Marvel movies, and fans were upset with how her character was portrayed in the recent Doctor Strange film. They’d likely be thrilled to see Wanda treated with the respect they feel she deserves. At the same time, it’s also easy to see why comic book fans are frustrated about having major plot points for Marvel’s biggest event of the year revealed ahead of time.
