NetEase Games, the Marvel Rivals developer, is gearing up for its worldwide, multi-platform launch of the superhero team-based PvP shooter. In just nine days, players across the globe will be preparing to join the fight as their beloved Marvel Comics characters take center stage. The global timer is ticking down, and a fresh announcement has been shared online each day.
This week, I got a sneak peek at the upcoming map, HYDRA Charteris Base: Hell’s Heaven, through a trailer that will be integrated into the game during Season 0. To add to the excitement, new Rivals Assemble videos were also released, showcasing fresh character cosmetic skins. The global build-up for various heroes continues, and this time it’s “the Mutant Yokai Slayer” Psylocke who’s taking center stage in the spotlight.

There are only nine days left before Marvel Rivals hits global screens this December. In the meantime, daily updates are still being shared following the Developer Vision Vol. 2 update and the unveiling of the HYDRA Charteris Base: Hell’s Heaven map trailer. On November 27, 2024, Psylocke is set to be featured in a Rivals Assemble video across all social media platforms. Additionally, a new cosmetic skin for the character “Mutant Yokai Slayer” has been announced.
NetEase Games unveiled the “Vengeance” costume for the character Psylocke, inspired by her attire from the Uncanny X-Men (1981) #256 comic. The description accompanying the reveal reads: “As swift as a butterfly’s wings, Psylocke swiftly defeats her adversaries in an instant, employing her lethal psychic weaponry to ensure no foes remain standing.
Players can look forward to assisting Psylocke in safeguarding the multiverse from imminent destruction upon the game’s launch. To join her cause, players will be equipped with an attractive new cosmetic skin that will be accessible at the game’s launch. As mentioned in earlier articles, the method for acquiring this skin remains unclear.
