Popular YouTuber Markiplier has married his girlfriend of ten years, Amy Nelson. The couple, who were reportedly engaged in February 2025, have officially tied the knot.
Mark Fischbach, better known as Markiplier, is a hugely popular gamer on YouTube. He’s been in a relationship with Amy Nelson, nicknamed Peebles, for about a decade. They first revealed they were dating publicly in June 2016 with a photo shared at VidCon.
Although Amy wasn’t as visible online as Mark, she’d sometimes appear in his videos or posts. They lived together with their two dogs, but they didn’t often talk about getting engaged or married.
Rumors about a possible engagement started in February 2025 when observant fans noticed what looked like engagement rings on both of them in separate social media posts. While neither of them confirmed anything at the time, and it initially seemed like fan speculation, it appears the rumors were actually true.
Markiplier finally ties the knot with Amy Nelson
Markiplier and Amy got married on September 20th, and he shared wedding photos on Instagram on October 7, 2025, to announce the news.
“10 years and counting. Going to go for the world record or die trying,” he captioned the post.

Amy posted more photos and added a heartfelt message: “Being with you makes everything feel right.”
Fans were ecstatic about the news, congratulating the new couple in the comments section.
Someone commented, “Amy, you looked stunning as a bride! We’re so happy you and your partner shared this special day with us. We wish you a lifetime of happiness, just like the joy you’ve brought to so many fans.”
“It’s about time! Congratulations, you two!” another said.
