A new game based on Dragon Ball is set to be announced at the beginning of 2026.
With the surprise return of *Dragon Ball FighterZ*, fans have even more to look forward to! While we’re still awaiting news on *Sparking! ZERO*, a brand new *Dragon Ball* project will be unveiled at the Genki Dama Festival in Japan on January 25, 2026.
Expect more news soon! The official announcement only confirmed that Masako Nozawa, the voice of Son Goku, will be involved, and hinted at major franchise updates. The official Dragon Ball games account on X also clarified that this is a brand new game, not just an add-on to existing ones.
Fans are eager for news about games they already love, particularly those that haven’t received much attention lately, like *Sparking! ZERO*. There’s also been talk of a sequel to *FighterZ*, but that seems improbable since the original game is still getting new content with downloadable characters planned for 2026.
