One passionate fan of the game Marathon has taken their dedication to the next level by transforming their car into a vehicle straight out of Bungie’s latest sci-fi game.
A Reddit user named ‘newhouj’ posted pictures on the Marathon subreddit, expressing their excitement for the game.
The photos feature a Mini Cooper decorated with a collage of images and quotes from the game. Highlights include a pink roof displaying the MIDA Faction logo, and the famous phrase “Escape will make me God” – originally from the 1994 version – painted on a door.

The project was really challenging, but the creator successfully completed it in their garage using spray paint.
I started working on this as soon as the first trailer came out. It took four months, and I did all the work in my garage using spray paint – I really enjoyed it! It’s not perfect, and a little messy in places, but I think that adds to its charm.
I started by painting the roof. I loved how the pink turned out, it made me not even want to use any other colors!
I’d say I’m pretty excited for this game.

One Reddit user commented that while some negative reactions might come, the customized Mini is adorable and deserves recognition for the effort put into it, calling it “rad.” Another simply described it as “so sick.”
People wondered if it was smart to invest so much effort into a game that hadn’t been released yet, but the original poster dismissed their concerns.
Many of my friends and family felt the same way, but I was really drawn to the game’s visuals and overall style. I enjoyed the design even if the gameplay wasn’t great.
Now that the game Marathon has officially launched, players and the gaming community are eager to see if it lives up to expectations. Despite receiving some mixed initial reviews, it’s already become a top seller on Steam in the US.
