As an aging film critic, I found myself reminiscing about the vibrant days of my past, feeling as though life had little left to offer me. A year had passed since the loss of my beloved wife, leaving me ensnared in a monotonous routine and estranged from my daughter Emily. However, when I chanced upon an enigmatic classified ad soliciting the services of a private investigator, Julie, I felt a spark ignite within me, urging me to embark on a fresh adventure. My assignment: to infiltrate the Pacific View Retirement Home in San Francisco and unravel the mystery surrounding the theft of a cherished family heirloom.

The series boasts an impressive ensemble cast featuring Stephanie Beatriz, Eugene Cordero, Sally Struthers, Marc Evan Jackson, Kerry O’Malley, John Getz, Miles Fowler, Clyde Kusatsu, Lori Tan Chinn, Susan Ruttan, Stephen McKinley Henderson, and Veronica Cartwright.

Mike Schur serves as the creator and executive producer for this series, working alongside Morgan Sackett, David Miner from 3 Arts Entertainment, Maite Alberdi and Marcela Santibañez from Micromundo Producciones, and Julie Goldman and Christopher Clements from Motto Pictures, all under his Fremulon banner. Universal Television, where Schur has an overall deal, serves as the studio for this production.
