In northern British Columbia, Canada, a man was apprehended for driving under the influence, as authorities discovered him operating a miniature pink Barbie Jeep that was meant for children.
On September 5th, images circulated online depicting Kasper Lincoln casually driving a miniature Barbie car along 15th Avenue in Prince George. Dressed in aviator sunglasses, Lincoln attracted attention as he navigated the toy vehicle down the road. However, an unmarked RCMP cruiser eventually stopped him on this journey.
Lincoln originally planned to get a Slurpee with a friend, but he ended up feeling too lazy, so he chose to play with his roommate’s child’s toy instead, which he had never used before. He chuckled about this situation.
That decision is coming back to haunt him in a big way.
Man faces DUI charge for taking child’s pink Barbie jeep to get Slurpee
Initially, officers pulled over Lincoln due to a traffic infraction, but soon found out that his driver’s license was revoked. Suspecting he might be under the influence, their suspicions were eventually backed up by the results of two breathalyzer tests.
As a concerned admirer, I’d rephrase it like this: “Though it may appear to some as an unnecessary waste of police resources, stopping a driver in a toy car was justified. The danger he posed to other drivers, who had to navigate around him on the busy road, and the risk to himself due to motorists not typically looking out for toy cars, made this situation worthy of law enforcement’s attention,” Cpl. Jennifer Cooper explained.

Lincoln acknowledged that the police informed him of several reports concerning his joyride, yet he disputed allegations suggesting he was directly in the road. Instead, he maintained that he primarily confined himself to the sidewalk, except when construction compelled him to move elsewhere.
Under the peculiar conditions, Lincoln expresses that he bears no resentment towards the arresting officer. Instead, he remembers him as pleasant, noting that the officer seemed nervous while completing a stack of forms and exclaimed, “This is my first time!
Lincoln acknowledged being charged with driving under the influence (DUI) and intends to contest the citation. However, when addressing others, he emphasized a strong warning: “Avoid operating vehicles while intoxicated.
This incident adds to a series of unusual DUI incidents that have occurred this year. For instance, in July, a man from Florida was taken into custody when authorities discovered him operating a lawnmower on a busy highway.
