On February 12th, 2025, Team Ninja, the developers, rolled out a significant update for Ninja Gaiden 2 Black across consoles and PC platforms such as Microsoft Store and Steam. This update is packed with numerous bug fixes and tweaks tailored to particular missions. For instance, in chapters 8 and 11, enemy health has been decreased, while chapters 13 and 14 will now feature more enemies. Moreover, Ayane’s attacks have received a boost in this update.
Among the addressed issues are solutions for controllers not vibrating under certain computing load or FPS settings, particularly when playing at over 120 FPS or during high computational workload. Regarding the fresh additions to Ninja Gaiden 2 Black, the developer has incorporated a Photo Mode feature which can be activated through the Options menu within the game, and a function that lets players conceal their Projectile Weapon using the “Show Projectile Weapon” setting found under the “Game Settings” in the Options menu.
To wrap things up, the New Game Plus (NG+) feature has been incorporated into Ninja Gaiden 2 Black with this latest update. This option becomes available once you’ve finished the game. It enables you to embark on a new adventure at a higher difficulty level. Upon entering NG+ mode, you can carry over the weapons and Ninpo that you successfully cleared with in your previous playthrough. However, it’s important to note that these weapons and Ninpo will be reset to their initial levels.
