The next roster update for Madden 26 is expected to be released on Thursday, December 18th, 2025. It usually comes out before the weekly Thursday Night Football game – in this case, before the Tampa Bay Buccaneers play the Atlanta Falcons. You can definitely expect the update to be available before the weekend games start on Sunday.

Week 16 starts with a great Thursday night game featuring the top two teams in the NFC: the Los Angeles Rams versus the Seattle Seahawks.
