Puka Nacua (WR), Los Angeles Rams – 97 OVR (+2)
This season has been fantastic for the rookie wide receiver, who is currently second in the league with 1,592 receiving yards. We anticipate his stock will rise even further after his impressive performance last night – 225 yards and two touchdowns against Seattle. Despite the Rams losing their division lead, players like Nacua are not at all to blame for the outcome.
Trey McBride (TE), Arizona Cardinals – 97 OVR (+1)
Even though the Arizona Cardinals have struggled this season, tight end Gerald McBride has been a standout player. He’s actually gained more receiving yards than some of the league’s biggest-name receivers. A lot of that success is also thanks to quarterback Jacoby Brissett, with whom McBride has built a strong connection. With three games remaining, it will be interesting to see how McBride finishes the season statistically.
Justin Jefferson (WR), Minnesota Vikings – 95 OVR (-3)
Okay, so I’ve been watching J.J. McCarthy, and he’s definitely looking more comfortable as the quarterback. But honestly, I’m a little worried he hasn’t really connected with Justin Jefferson yet. It’s been two weeks since Jefferson got booted from the 99 Club, and he’s only had four catches for 33 yards – that’s rough! I get that winning is the main goal, but when you’ve got a superstar receiver like Jefferson with the potential to break records, you want him to be a bigger part of the game. Still, McCarthy’s only started eight games in the last two seasons, so I guess it takes time to build that chemistry. I’m hoping they’ll figure it out soon.
Jeffrey Simmons (DT), Tennessee Titans – 95 OVR (+1)
Over the past three weeks, Simmons has been a strong performer with 3.5 sacks and even a touchdown catch. While Tennessee’s defense has struggled recently, giving up an average of 30 points per game (and over 25 per game overall), Simmons isn’t the problem. With a career-best 9 sacks this season, he’s a key player for the team.
Josh Jacobs (HB), Green Bay Packers – 91 OVR (+2)
While Josh Jacobs isn’t among the league leaders in total rushing yards (currently 15th with 890), he’s second among running backs with 13 rushing touchdowns. He hasn’t had a 100-yard game yet this season, but he consistently gains over four yards on each carry. Last week, he totaled 92 yards and scored twice on 14 touches. Jacobs’ ability to handle a large workload makes him a dependable player for the Green Bay offense.

Week 16 kicked off last night with an incredible game between the Seahawks and the Rams. The Rams had a strong lead, 30-14, but the Seahawks dramatically came back in the final eight minutes to tie the game and force overtime. Seattle then won in overtime after making three successful two-point conversions, including the final one to seal the victory. With the win, the Seahawks now lead both their division, the NFC West, and the entire National Football Conference.
This weekend has some great games coming up, with several important matchups between teams in the same division. The Packers and Bears will play again in a game that could decide the NFC North race, and the Panthers and Buccaneers will battle it out for control of the NFC South. See who Madden 26 predicts will win each game!
