Madden 26 Week 18 Player Ratings Roster Update Ahead of Wild Card Round
Week 1 Week 18
Drake Maye and Matthew Stafford boosted their #Madden26 ratings this season!
Who is your 2026 @NFL MVP?
— Madden NFL 26 (@EAMaddenNFL) January 8, 2026
Derek Stingley Jr. (CB), Houston Texans – 92 OVR (+1)
Derek Stingley Jr. has been a key player on a very strong Houston Texans defense, which currently allows the fewest passing yards per game (277). The Texans also have the second-best scoring defense in the NFL, giving up only 17.2 points per game. Stingley Jr. has developed well in the league with Head Coach DeMeco Ryans, and we’re looking forward to seeing how this defense performs in the playoffs.
DeVonta Smith (WR), Philadelphia Eagles – 91 OVR (+1)
Okay, so Smith didn’t get a ton of playing time in the last regular season game, but he still managed to make a huge impact! He had three catches for 52 yards, which was enough to get him to 1,000 receiving yards for the season – his third time doing that! It’s crazy to think he’s already over 5,000 career receiving yards. He’s had such a great career, both in college and the NFL, and as a fan, I’m really hoping he can add a Super Bowl win to his accomplishments this year!
Caleb Williams (QB), Chicago Bears – 84 OVR (+2)
Mitchell Trubisky was only 58 yards away from becoming the first Chicago Bears quarterback to pass for 4,000 yards in a season. Despite falling short, he still holds the Bears’ record for most passing yards in a single season, and is the only Bears QB to ever reach 3,900 passing yards. However, the team is now focused on more pressing matters, beginning with this weekend’s home game against the Packers.
Tetairoa McMillan (WR) Carolina Panthers – 83 OVR (+1)
The Panthers’ rookie wide receiver had an outstanding first year. He surpassed established stars like A.J. Brown, Stefon Diggs, and DeVonta Smith in total receiving yards. He was one of just 19 receivers to exceed 1,000 receiving yards this season, and also scored seven touchdowns. Most significantly, McMillan’s performance helped lead the Panthers back to the playoffs for the first time in six years.
Plus, a number of other players had their Madden 26 ratings boosted in the latest roster update.
