Ludwig calls out xQc for being totally different in person despite being “mean” on stream

I was really surprised to hear Ludwig talk about meeting xQc at the MrBeast event! He said xQc is like “Jekyll and Hyde” – totally different in person than how he acts when he’s streaming. Apparently, he’s a completely different person off camera, which is wild to think about!

Fifty popular streamers participated in a special event organized by MrBeast, allowing them to connect with each other in person. After the event, Ludwig discussed his impressions of xQc, noting the differences between how xQc acts online versus in real life.

Someone asked if xQc seemed relaxed, and Ludwig responded that xQc has a dual personality. He explained that while streaming, xQc often comes across as outspoken and can be very critical, even saying harsh things about people he knows personally.

It’s strange when you finally meet someone who’s been acting badly online, because they’re completely different in person – often really nice. You’re left thinking, ‘Wait, was that the same person saying all those awful things?’ I think they’ve convinced themselves it’s all just for show, not genuine behavior.

Ludwig vs xQc

Ludwig spoke after a group of content creators got together during a competition where streamers try to stay inside a cube to win $1 million for their audience.

In January 2025, xQc criticized Ludwig, accusing him of changing his opinions to gain popularity.

xQc joked that Ludwig would even change his opinion on something as simple as the taste of water if enough people pressured him to do so.

xQc has not publicly responded to Ludwig’s remarks at the time of writing.
