Through the entire 12-hour live broadcast, a total of $224,000 was collected towards their goal, which averaged approximately $19,583 per hour.
Ludwig expressed gratitude to all who contributed, stating that a grand total of $224,000 was successfully raised during the live broadcast.
The stream elicited an abundance of favorable feedback from spectators, as The Yard’s team received numerous accolades for their impressive production quality, featuring an array of guests and jaw-dropping antics.
As a passionate viewer, I can confidently say that this stream was truly legendary. Though it’s only February in 2025, it might just give other streams a run for Stream of the Year!
“Might be the best stream of all time,” said another.
Back in November 2022, I, a passionate supporter, found myself witnessing yet another selfless act by Ludwig. He embarked on a marathon streaming event, a subathon, where he managed to gather more than $200,000 for remarkable causes like No Kid Hungry and Alveus Sanctuary.
In June of 2024, he held a gaming event that raised over $250,000 for various charities.
Together with Ludwig, numerous live-streamers have recently utilized their platforms to disseminate information and collect funds for those affected by the Los Angeles wildfires. Regrettably, several content creators residing in LA were among the victims themselves, having lost their homes and been compelled to move away due to the fires.
On his live broadcast on January 16th, xQc managed to gather $10,000 in donations for the victims of the Los Angeles wildfires, primarily due to a generous contribution from one of his viewers.
