The 2025 film Dracula explores the origins of the infamous Count, revealing how he became the creature of legend. After losing his wife, a prince turns away from God and is cursed with immortality. This sets him on a quest to overcome destiny and bring his beloved back from the dead. However, he’s pursued not only by the forces of the universe, but also by a determined priest who wants to destroy him and end his unholy existence.

But I know some people are starting to look back at the story with Natalie Portman’s character and see things differently now, which is interesting. And The Fifth Element? Well, some folks think it’s just a fun, over-the-top sci-fi flick, even if it does have a fantastic cast. It’s just a director who always gets people talking!

Besson’s Dracula seems to have received very different reactions from critics and general audiences. While critics gave the film a low score of 53% on Rotten Tomatoes, citing problems with its inconsistent tone, audiences generally liked it much more, giving it an 82% rating.
