Love Island: All Stars Resumes Production

The new season of Love Island: All Stars faced a brief setback when filming was paused for five days. This happened because wildfires broke out near Cape Town, South Africa, and the villa had to be evacuated. ITV News reported that strong winds and high temperatures were making the fires worse, but emergency services had begun to contain them. While rare, this isn’t the first time the show has faced production issues – the 2020 season was delayed by a year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The popular reality show is back! It returns to ITV in the U.K. on January 15th and to Peacock in the U.S. on January 17th (it was originally scheduled to premiere on January 12th). Hosted by Maya Jama, the show will feature twelve former contestants from the U.K. version of the series returning to the villa to try and find love again – and win £50,000. Expect some new faces to shake things up and test existing couples!
