Megan Walerius, known as Sparkle Megan from Love Is Blind season 9, recently revealed she’s welcomed a baby boy! She shared the news during the reunion show, explaining she gave birth about two and a half months ago and that being a mom is her purpose. Megan had previously hinted at the baby on her Instagram stories. Host Vanessa Lachey asked about the baby’s name (Brooks) and the father (Paul, who was present at the reunion). Megan explained that she and Paul met through a friend in July, after filming wrapped in April, and became pregnant three months into their relationship. She even brought a slideshow of photos documenting her pregnancy.
Throughout this season of Love Is Blind, Sparkle Megan frequently discussed her desire to become a mother, even mentioning it early on during conversations in the pods. She connected with Jordan Keltner and quickly met his 5-year-old son while filming. Although they ultimately broke up in the finale, Sparkle initially felt excited about the possibility of being a stepmother. She later admitted in an interview that she hadn’t fully considered the difficulties and sacrifices that come with it, and even questioned if she was ready to be a mom. However, she has since become pregnant. Jordan revealed that Sparkle had been open about her pregnancy, so he wasn’t surprised when she announced it at the reunion. The other women on the show, though, were visibly shocked, with KB jokingly commenting on Sparkle’s changing physique.
