After ten seasons, Love Is Blind is celebrating its success. To mark this milestone, Netflix has brought back couples who are still together—Brett and Tiffany, Zack and Bliss, Chelsea and Kwame, Amy and Johnny, Daniel and Taylor, Garrett and Taylor, and Cameron (with Lauren at home with their baby)—along with 150 other past contestants. Don’t worry if you don’t remember every single person, though! While the episode includes quick updates on where former cast members are now, the focus remains on getting the latest from the couples of season ten.
Vanessa and Nick are really shining tonight, but I also want to acknowledge how much progress everyone seems to have made. It seems like a lot of them worked through their issues privately before this reunion. It’s great when you can finally say what you need to and move on – eventually, you reach a point where there’s nothing left to discuss. I expected some dramatic confrontations, like Connor or Jess really letting Chris have it, but it’s actually more heartwarming to see they don’t even seem to think about him anymore. Devonta’s engagement and upcoming baby are lovely, and it’s good to see Brittany handling the news so well. By the end of the night, I don’t feel the need to know much more about any of these relationships. We’ve gotten a pretty complete picture of what happened and where everyone is now, and I’m ready to move on with things. Let’s go through the highlights, question by question.
Are Christine and Vic still married?
Vic and Christine are incredibly sweet together. Vic’s famous line about seeing people even when he can’t is now matched by how much they’ve turned their place into a real home since Christine moved to Columbus to live with him. Nick is right to call them sickeningly perfect! They’ve quickly built a lot of family memories – Vic went out of his way to invite Christine to a cookout – and she says he helped her forgive her father just a month after their wedding. He even drove her to meet him, waited outside, and ended up chatting with him that day. Even when they share little annoyances – Christine loves wearing socks, so Vic never gets to relax with bare feet, and Vic enjoys games like Angry Birds and “trash ball” – everything they say is filled with love. They genuinely see each other as a blessing.
I have to admit, I really like Vic and Christine as a couple, so even their sponsored content doesn’t bother me. It’s sweet that TurboTax is giving them a honeymoon since they didn’t get a big international trip after getting married, and they’re even taking care of their taxes while they’re away! They always seemed like a pretty private pair who weren’t huge fans of being on reality TV, so it feels perfect that their last act is stepping out of the spotlight and starting their life as a married couple.
How long did Amber and Jordan stay married?
Their relationship lasted only four months, and they never lived together. Jordan claims the issue wasn’t Amber’s daughter, Emma, whom he got along with well. He believes the strain came from trying to rebuild Amber’s trust after previous bad relationships. Amber, however, says it was difficult to trust Jordan because he prioritized time with his friends over being with her. They also disagree about how much effort Jordan put into seeing her, as he commuted 45 minutes. Jordan feels Amber didn’t support him either, recalling a particularly upsetting wedding where he was best man and she allegedly missed the ceremony, passed out early in the reception, fell asleep at the table, and verbally attacked him in the lobby.
It’s obvious from how they talk about things now that this relationship wasn’t a good one. Amber seems to recognize that, but she’s upset that Jordan wasn’t willing to try and fix it. She wanted to go to counseling to address her anger and work on the marriage, but Jordan felt it was damaging to his well-being and believed it was beyond repair. It’s especially heartbreaking because their daughter didn’t get a chance to say goodbye and is now trying to cope by creating a memory box for her father.
After Jordan hesitated about marriage, Amber angrily left, telling him, “Don’t start something if you’re going to do that. I was clear about what I wanted.” (Jordan later apologized for not realizing how to properly end things with someone who has a child.) Despite being described by other contestants as initially guarded and skeptical of men, Amber feels she benefited from the experience, saying she’s proud of learning to open up and see the positive qualities in the other participants.
Even Chris?
Actually, she hasn’t changed all that much. When Amber decides Jordan isn’t as bad as Chris, she immediately tells Chris, “I still hate you… you just aren’t good.” It’s like Amber physically can’t lie when she dislikes someone. Anyone who hurts her daughter is in serious trouble.
Are Bri and Connor still together?
Bri confirms that Connor has moved to Columbus to be near her, and she’s so sure they’ll get married that Connor teased her about proposing. It makes me wonder if their continued relationship bothers Netflix, since Love Is Blind pushes couples to quickly decide between marriage or breaking up. Regardless, Bri says she and Connor are very happy together and adore each other.
Reviewing the events hasn’t altered anything, though Bri does wish she’d handled things differently. She admits she should have ended her conversation with Chris at the party earlier, to be respectful of both Connor and Jess. While she feels embarrassed about how it all unfolded, she insists she was always completely focused on Connor. Connor himself doesn’t seem to care about the footage, saying he never thinks about Chris. With some encouragement from Nick, we find out Chris and Connor were close in the pods and used to work out together. However, despite his clear dislike, Connor doesn’t want to say anything to Chris, considering him not worth the effort. This outcome is likely particularly upsetting for Chris, who presents himself as a dominant personality.
Chris admitted he cringed watching some of his past behavior, and Nick, who was visibly the most upset, voiced what many of us were thinking when he simply asked, “Is that it?” Chris did apologize to Connor for being disrespectful and to Bri for putting her in a difficult position. He clarified he wasn’t seeking forgiveness, but wanted to sincerely express his regret.
When the Lacheys ask Chris about his initial positive comments regarding his physical connection with Jess, he explains he didn’t want to discourage himself. He also refutes Jess’s idea that he criticized her due to jealousy over her financial success, admitting he was emotionally immature. He acknowledges prioritizing physical attraction and says he should have acted differently. He apologizes to Jess, expressing that he doubts he’ll experience a similar emotional bond with anyone else.
How is Jess doing post-Chris?
It’s incredible, but like Connor, Jess has reached a point where she doesn’t feel the need to communicate with Chris anymore. While she initially tried to remain polite after their split, watching the show’s footage made her realize she’s better off without contact. She’s actually grateful Chris revealed his true character so quickly. She sees him as immature, almost like a boy, and even finds herself rolling her eyes when she thinks of him as a man. Jess is thankful she focused on her own well-being, which helped her navigate this situation without being devastated. She was more hurt by the fact that the women who talked to Chris at the party didn’t support her more, though Ashley has acknowledged she should have done better, and Jess doesn’t seem to be holding onto any anger about it.
I was so thrilled to find out Jess has found someone! And get this – it’s Haramol, another doctor from the pods! I remember he really connected with her in there, but he got scared about proposing without ever seeing her. Jess was totally surprised, because she thought he was just being a friend after things ended with Chris. She didn’t even realize their first outing was a date! It’s so sweet – he just told her straight up that he wanted to be with her.
Haramol grabbed the microphone and passionately praised Jess, bringing her to tears. He said “love” didn’t even begin to cover how he felt about her, and playfully called her incredibly attractive. It was heartwarming to see her receive such loud and public affection after everything she’d overcome. It felt like the perfect ending to her story. Jess has clearly healed – she doesn’t even need to acknowledge Chris anymore – and to top it off, he publicly apologized to her right before she confidently started a relationship with someone who adores her. I sincerely hope every woman who’s been hurt by an ex experiences this kind of happiness.
Are Emma and Mike still together?
So, no hard feelings between Emma and Mike, which is good! The big takeaway is they actually decided to say no a couple of days before the wedding because they couldn’t honestly answer whether they wanted kids. Vanessa, ever the voice of Love Is Blind reason, points out you’re not supposed to decide until you’re standing at the altar – you just don’t know how you’ll feel in that moment. Apparently, Emma’s a perfect example of that – she says she made her decision based on emotion, not logic. But honestly, after seeing how things went with Amber and Jordan, relying on emotions alone doesn’t seem like the best strategy, does it?
I’ve been following Emma and Mike’s story, and it’s fascinating. Emma believed saying “I do” meant she was committing to having kids eventually, and she thought that settled it. But Mike didn’t read it that way, and her later change of heart worried him – he wondered if she’d easily change her mind about other things too. Honestly, we’ve seen this kind of misunderstanding before. It feels like there’s not much more to unpack, especially since they both seem at peace with how things turned out. Emma is doing really well, focusing on herself, going to therapy, and strengthening her friendships and family ties as she figures out what she truly wants. And Mike has found someone new, Tara – they’ve been dating for seven months, and it’s clear he envisions a future with her, maybe even a family. It’s a bittersweet situation, but they both seem to be moving forward in healthy ways.
Are Ashley and Alex on good terms?
Alex is definitely defending himself tonight, just like a goalkeeper would. He strongly denies that he’s changed his story or been dishonest, even when the Lacheys ask him questions that seem to give him the benefit of the doubt. When Vanessa suggests things might have gone better if he hadn’t tried so hard to give Ashley and her dad exactly what they wanted to hear, he asks if she would have preferred he pretended to be clueless.
Ashley believes Alex lost interest because she doesn’t have brown hair, but Alex says that was just the beginning of the problem. He assures her she’s beautiful and apologizes for making her feel insecure. He explains that other factors, like a tense conversation with her father and his lack of understanding about periods, also contributed to his loss of attraction. He feels Ashley is still hurting from a past relationship and didn’t fully trust him, and he wishes he’d asked more questions during their first date to better understand things.
Alex described their relationship using the analogy of a tied Liverpool soccer game. However, Ashley clearly wanted to win – she meticulously planned what she’d say and even interrupted him during the wedding ceremony. She was afraid of being rejected and wanted everyone to know his decision wouldn’t affect her. Honestly, though, when a couple behaves like this, I think they both end up losing. I’m not sure Alex was ever genuinely looking for a wife, and it’s possible he was just hoping for a place to stay for a month before moving on – apparently to Arizona with Devonta.
Wait, what’s going on with Devonta?
His recent move to Arizona isn’t the only surprising news. He and Brittany have split up, but they don’t agree on when it actually happened. Brittany claims that when she asked Devonta if he wanted to end things, he said he didn’t. She says he didn’t officially break up with her until a few days after telling her he was going on a work trip – which she later found out was actually a get-together with Bri, Ashley, and Priyanka. (Connor believed it was a girls’ trip.) Brittany is upset that she had to learn about the trip through Amber, who heard it from Jordan, who couldn’t recall how he originally found out.
Bri is upset that people think she violated a “girl code” by inviting Devonta to the concert. She explains that Devonta was invited because he was a fan of the artist. While he did stay with Priyanka one night because his lodging wasn’t secured upon arrival, Priyanka says it was an unexpected and uncomfortable situation for her. Devonta confirms this and adds that he intentionally let everyone assume he and Brittany had split up. Priyanka does apologize if Brittany was upset by any of this.
Brittany was surprised when she rewatched the show and heard Devonta’s comments. She had previously shared with him that she’d already bought her wedding dress while they were still in the pods, and now believes he misled her to spare her feelings. Despite thinking he’s a good person and that she did genuinely fall for him, she feels she didn’t see his true self. Devonta acknowledges he has trouble being straightforward and admits he should have been honest earlier, but he assured Brittany’s father that he truly believed he was ready for marriage. Brittany’s dad seems to like Devonta and encourages him to grow from this experience, suggesting he focus on fully committing to relationships instead of just avoiding failure.
Devonta is putting a valuable lesson into practice immediately. He unexpectedly shared that he’s engaged and will soon be a father, news Brittany is hearing for the first time. He didn’t share many details, only mentioning that his future family doesn’t live with him in Arizona. He also hinted at owning another home in Ohio, which is reminiscent of his roommate Alex’s tendency to be vague about his location.
What else happened?
AD and Gigi from previous seasons were asked to chat with attendees and get the latest gossip, but it wasn’t very exciting. Keya and Tyler are still doing well, and Cameron is happy about becoming a dad. It’s amusing that Joey and Sara are sitting near Sara’s ex, Ben, while enthusiastically talking about their relationship. AD’s slightly subdued reaction – “I love that for you guys. Clap clap clap.” – makes you wonder if she’s being loyal to Monica. The most surprising moment was when Zack and Bliss revealed the gender of their baby, even though Bliss’s grandmother, who filmed the video before passing away, is no longer with us. While the idea is touching, finding out they’re having a boy during a Netflix reunion felt a little strange.
The reunion show also included a musical performance, which has become a tradition on Love Is Blind. While a song isn’t really necessary, I liked seeing the photos of couples who stayed together while Forest Blakk and Joy Williams sang. It gave the hosts, Nick and Vanessa Lachey, a brief break before they offered a sweet message encouraging viewers to keep believing in love. The show ended with a kiss, and it was refreshing to finish a reunion feeling positive instead of annoyed.
