Sony is marking the 30th anniversary of the PlayStation with several special offers, and that now includes new footwear! Sony has partnered with Reebok to create a new line of shoes that celebrate the original PlayStation console’s design. This collaboration features three unique shoe styles, including:
- InstaPump Fury 94 (Japan)
- Pump Omni Zone II for the U.S. (United States)
- Workout Plus (United Kingdom)
These are the newest shoes from PlayStation. Sony has collaborated with Nike before on shoes for the PS5, and they also worked with Adidas to create sneakers inspired by Spider-Man 2.

The sneakers will be released in October, and each pair comes in special, limited-edition packaging that’s inspired by the console’s original look. Sony hasn’t yet revealed how much the new shoes will cost or where you can buy them.
Besides the cool shoes, Sony also revealed a new book called PlayStation: The First 30 Years, and as a huge fan, I’m already excited! It’s packed with concept sketches, design models, and what they’re calling “never-before-seen” prototypes of the console. It’s a pretty big book – 400 pages! – and is scheduled to hit shelves in Spring 2026. The best part? You can preorder it now!
The first PlayStation came out in North America in September 1995, meaning we’re celebrating its 30th anniversary this month. Since then, Sony has released several consoles, including the PS2, PS3, PS4, and most recently, the PS5 and PS5 Pro. The PlayStation 6 is on the way, but details about the system are still scarce.
