LIT: A Rocket or a Fizzle? 🚀

The price of Lighter, that little crypto dream, had a bit of a jump these past couple days. Folks got a little hopeful again, see? Like a dust bowl farmer hearing about rain.

Lighter’s been makin’ promises, followin’ through on a few, and now people are wonderin’ if this climb is gonna hold, or just collapse like a poorly built barn. It’s always the way, ain’t it? Promises and dust.

The Lighter Folks Say Something

January the sixth, they started buyin’ back their own stuff. A little show, see? Put it out on the social media, link to the treasury wallet and all. Showin’ off a bit, like a fella polishin’ his old truck.

Had about 180,733 LIT in that account, worth a bit over half a thousand dollars. Not a king’s ransom, no, but enough to get folks talkin’. They promised this back when they first came around, so they’re keepin’ their word… for now. Seems like a small thing, but small things matter when you’re tryin’ to build trust in a world built on nothin’ but air.

“We got money comin’ in, see, and we’re gonna use it to grow and buy things back, dependin’ on how the wind’s blowin’,” the Lighter people said on December the thirtieth. “We’re here for the long haul, tryin’ to make somethin’ worthwhile.” Sounded good, I guess. Everything sounds good before it disappoints you. 🤷‍♂️

Can This Thing Keep Climbin’?

They got numbers, these folks, showin’ money flowin’ in. The Chaikin Money Flow, fancy name for watchin’ who’s buyin’ and who’s sellin’. Lately, more buyin’, it seems. But numbers lie sometimes, just like people.

A few days back, the signs weren’t so good. Price went up, but the money was headin’ the other way. That’s a bad sign, like a field of wheat bendin’ before the storm. It pulled back after that, showed it wasn’t all that strong.

But the last couple days, things shifted. Money flowin’ in with the price. A good sign, if you believe in signs. Makes it more likely this ain’t just a flash in the pan.

Pressure’s Buildin’, But Not Too Much Yet

They got another measure, the Money Flow Index. Showin’ steady buyin’, too. Good to see things agreeing, like a couple of old friends.

Price is goin’ up, and so is the index. People are actually buyin’, not just ridin’ the wave. That’s a little comfort, I reckon. It ain’t overbought yet, so there’s still room to run, maybe. 🤩

Still ain’t gone crazy, index under 80. Means there’s still room for it to rise without gettin’ overheated.

Where Might This Go?

Lighter’s price jumped nearly 18% in the last day, sittin’ around $3.11 right now. People are gettin’ hopeful again, thinkin’ it might be turnin’ around. It’s tryin’ to break out of a slump, but it’s not there yet.

Broke above a line on the charts for a bit, but needs to stay there. $3.19, that’s the number to watch. If it holds, that’s a good sign. If it doesn’t… well, don’t hold your breath. 😬

If folks start sellin’ again, it could fall back under $2.97. Then, it’s back to square one, just grindin’ and waitin’. It’s always grindin’ and waitin’, ain’t it?
