So, Hypergryph kicked off the first closed beta for Arknights: Endfield – that new action RPG spin-off of Arknights – back in early 2025. Now, the second beta is live, and honestly, it’s a huge step up from what I remember of the first one. It feels like a completely different game!
Hypergryph says this latest version of the game features a significantly improved experience, with 50 to 60 hours of fully developed content. They’ve reworked the story, added new cutscenes, and enhanced the combat system. Players can now explore a brand-new region called Wuling.
In this game, you play as the Endministrator, the head of Endfield Industries, who has lost their memory. As you piece together your past, you’ll team up with allies and venture across the untamed planet of Talos-II, seeking to uncover its resources. Similar to the game Satisfactory, you’ll gather materials and construct factories to make the most of everything you find.
This beta version of the game introduces nine new playable characters, including three powerful six-star characters: Ardelia, Last Rite, and Pogranichnik. Players who sign up for pre-registration on the game’s website can unlock a five-star character named Snowshine, along with other bonuses, once the game reaches 5 million pre-registrations.
TopMob tested the latest beta version earlier this month and found the combat to be much smoother and easier to use than before. They also made the system for improving your characters simpler, so players can more easily understand how to maximize their progress.
Hypergryph hasn’t announced when the Arknights: Endfield beta will end, but they’re planning to fully release the game on PC, PlayStation 5, and Android in 2026.
