Lego recently released a new 3-in-1 Creator set that’s perfect for gamers! The Retro Gaming Console, which has 268 pieces and costs $20, can be built as a portable game, a mini arcade machine, or a desktop computer. It’s designed for ages eight and up and is now available at Amazon, Best Buy, and the Lego Store.
New Lego Creator 3-in-1 Building Sets (January 2026)
The Lego Creator line is expanding in January 2026 with nine new sets, including a Retro Gaming Console. Other new builds range in price from $10 for a Cute Hamster to $20 for a Fierce Dinosaur and $30 for a Playful Puppy, all offering 3-in-1 building options. While most of the sets will be available on Amazon, the Space Exploration Telescope will only be sold at the Lego Store and Target.

Lego Gaming Hardware Sets

As a Lego and gaming fan, I was so excited when Lego released their Arcade Machine with 468 pieces and the Game Boy with 421 pieces last year – they were priced at $40 and $60, respectively. The Arcade Machine is still a Lego Store exclusive, and it’s really cool because it has a hidden ’80s gaming room built inside! If you’re looking for a bigger build, the Lego Pac-Man Arcade with 2,651 pieces is the largest one they’ve made so far, and it costs $270. It’s a shame though, because the Lego Nintendo Entertainment System and Atari 2600 have already been discontinued as of the end of 2024.
- Lego Game Boy (421 pieces) — $60
- Lego Arcade Machine (468 pieces) — $40
- Lego Creator Retro Gaming Console (268 pieces) — $20
- Lego Icons: Pac-Man Arcade (2,651 pieces) — $270
- Lego Icons: Atari 2600 (2,532 pieces) — Retired, $240 MSRP
- Lego NES (2,646 pieces) — Retired, $270 MSRP
