Lego fan turns Orange Cat set into rocket-powered corgi

A Lego enthusiast has designed a unique set perfect for corgi fans! They cleverly reimagined the popular Orange Cat Lego model into an incredibly cute dog, and even included a fun surprise inside.

Lego offers a huge variety of sets based on popular franchises like One Piece, movies, and video games, as well as realistic animals and classic items like Game Boys. However, it can be disappointing to discover that a specific set you’re hoping for isn’t available, or isn’t quite the version you imagined.

Talented Lego builders often modify existing sets to create entirely new designs. One fan recently did this by creating a Lego set perfect for corgi lovers, and it even includes a fun, hidden rocket feature!

A Lego enthusiast shared their amazing creation on Reddit: they rebuilt the classic Orange Cat set into an adorable orange and white corgi! The corgi features a rotating head, posable ears and mouth, and even a wiggling tail.

Surprisingly, the creator built the model using only one Orange Cat set, needing 1674 of the 1755 pieces and with a few smaller parts unused.

The finished model is about 35cm (14 inches) long, 16cm (6.5 inches) wide, and 23cm (9 inches) tall – much larger than the official, smaller Lego Welsh Corgi set which contains only 104 pieces.

Okay, so here’s the really weird part. I built this corgi, and it’s not just a cute exterior. There’s a secret compartment inside, and I filled it with… well, a piece of poop and a tiny, pop-up missile launcher! Honestly, who doesn’t want a rocket-launching corgi, right? I needed to put something inside!

You can find a list of the parts and building instructions on Rebrickable, allowing you to build this design yourself if you’d like – especially if you have a cute corgi!
