In July 2026, Square Enix and Dark Horse Books will publish a special artbook celebrating the 30th anniversary of Legend of Mana, titled ‘The Art of Mana’.

Dark Horse Books and Square Enix are releasing a special 30th-anniversary edition of Legend of Mana: The Art of Mana, a full-color art book dedicated to the beloved roleplaying game, Legend of Mana. This is the first English-language edition of the book, and it features artwork from the game’s 1999 release, plus brand-new art created specifically for this edition by Yukata Koyama, Shinichi Kamoeka, Masaki Takahashi, HACCAN, and Kanta Kamei.
This special 80-page art book celebrates the 30th anniversary of Legend of Mana with a comprehensive look at the game’s world and characters. It features detailed artwork of the Lands and Artifacts, character sprites, Mystic Cards, boss designs, and more. Fans will enjoy seeing early concept art, character designs, and backgrounds created for the original Legend of Mana game, offering a deeper dive into its development.
