In a best-of-three round robin tournament, the eight teams you see listed will compete. The top six teams will advance to the next phase, which follows Fearless Draft rules. Victory in the Season Kickoff event secures qualification for First Stand, an exciting new international tournament launching in 2025.

    Mid Season Split

    • Dates: TBA

During the mid-season break, the initial seven weeks will consist of single elimination matches, followed by five-game series for the MSI qualifier. The top performing squads from the region will secure their spots to compete in the Mid-Season Invitational.

    Season Finals

    • Dates: TBA

For the Season Finals, teams will be separated into two groups according to their Mid-Season rankings. The leading four teams will fall under the Contender Group, and the remaining teams will form the Breakthrough Group.

In the initial phase, each group will employ a best-of-three round robin structure. Subsequently, the top pair of teams within the Breakout Group will engage in combat with the four lowest-ranked teams from the Contender Group during the Group Breaker round.

After winning or losing, contestants will proceed to either Contender or Breakout. Then, they’ll compete in a double-elimination tournament format. The top six teams that emerge victorious will advance to Playoffs, and the last remaining team will be crowned as the LCP Champion.

In order to ensure that home-based clubs have a reasonable opportunity to qualify for LCP 2026, promotional and relegational events will take place throughout the 2025 season. For your convenience, you may find the schedule outlined below:

The final teams eligible for promotion or relegation will depend on their rankings and regional performance. Teams that manage to qualify for Worlds in the same year are exempt from this process. Winners of the Promotion and Relegation tournament in LCP will earn a spot in LCP 2026.

In the coming weeks, we’ll disclose details about the Promotion and Relegation system, and until then, don’t miss out on any of the live matches which can be found on the official YouTube and Twitch channels for League of Legends.
