Landman fans think something terrible will happen to Ainsley after Episode 7

As a gamer who has seen my fair share of drama-filled series, I can’t help but feel a sense of unease when it comes to Ainsley Norris in Landman. While she may not be the most beloved character due to her one-dimensional portrayal and frequent use as a subject for jokes, no one wants to see harm come to anyone, especially a teenager like Ainsley.

In simpler terms, Episode 7 of Landman seems to foreshadow potential difficulties ahead for Tommy and his kin, while enthusiasts of Taylor Sheridan’s oil-themed series are growing anxious about Ainsley’s safety.

In Landman, Ainsley is not the audience’s preferred character. Instead, she tends to attract a significant amount of criticism due to her one-dimensional portrayal, which frequently involves her being the focus of sexual humor or suggestive remarks.

In Episode 7, we saw Ainsley and her mother Angela engage in a workout, visit a senior living facility, and experience an uncomfortable escalation between Ainsley and a quarterback in the back of his pickup truck. This brief romance was abruptly ended by an upset Tommy. (This paraphrase aims to convey the original meaning with more natural, conversational language.)

Fans certainly don’t wish for any harm to come to Tommy’s daughter, but with the intriguing hints dropped about the upcoming episodes, it seems there might be trouble on the horizon. (Be warned: spoilers follow!)

Ainsley Norris might get kidnapped in Landman

In Episode 7 titled ‘All Roads Lead To A Hole,’ Tommy steps in to disrupt Ainsley and her companion Ryder from settling too cozily in the back of his vehicle. Following a physical altercation with Ryder and some stern words for Ainsley, both father and daughter depart from the motorcycle club gathering.

Unbeknownst to them, someone is keeping tabs. Tommy has found himself under the surveillance of a cartel member due to a past event – the plane crash in Episode 1, which resulted in losses for the cartel led by Jimmy. Jimmy believes that Tommy owes them for the drugs destroyed in the explosion.

These indications strongly suggest one possibility: The cartel might retaliate against Tommy by harming his family as a form of revenge, possibly starting with Ainsley. It doesn’t seem like they’re monitoring any other family member of his, and now that they know he has a daughter, it’s likely they will exploit this information to hurt him.

The moment hasn’t gone unnoticed by viewers, with many suggesting this is the only way forward.

According to one Reddit user, “It’s evident that Ainsley will be abducted.” Another user concurred, “Given the cartel now knows who Tommy’s daughter is and how fiercely he guards her, she has become a potential risk to him.

Another stated, “I’m absolutely certain that event will unfold, but ideally, they should kidnap her as a wife too.
