KSI Set to Face Premier League Star Wayne Bridge in Shocking Boxing Match!

It’s said that KSI is set to face off against the ex-soccer player, Wayne Bridge, in a boxing bout scheduled for March 29th.

The DailyMail reports that the official announcement of the fight might depend on completing contractual agreements.

If the match takes place, the popular YouTube personality aged 31 will participate in his seventh professional fight, following his victory over another YouTuber, Logan Paul, during his debut. KSI’s professional record stands at four wins, one loss, and one draw. Unfortunately, he lost his most recent bout against Tommy Fury in 2023.

In 2018, KSI fought in his ninth bout overall. He defeated Joe Weller and drew against Logan Paul in these amateur contests. These fights ignited the trend of influencer boxing matches, which has since grown into its own popular content category.

For quite some time now, KSI and Jake Paul have been speculated as possible boxing opponents for each other. In November 2024, it was suggested that Jake should take up this fight, encouraged by his brother Logan. However, the eagerly awaited match-up might be postponed further since KSI has now seized a new opportunity instead.

It’s uncertain whether a potential fight could impact KSI’s eligibility to step in for Logan Paul against Conor McGregor. According to McGregor, he is slated to face off against Paul at an undisclosed event in 2025. However, as Logan has been concentrating on wrestling, there have been whispers that KSI might replace him in the matchup.

Regarding Bridge, his upcoming contest will mark his second experience in boxing. Previously, he faced off against reality TV personality Spencer Matthews in 2018 during Sports Relief, a charitable event broadcasted on television in the UK.

In his 16-year long professional soccer career, Bridge, aged 44, played more than 350 matches for various clubs. However, it’s his six-season tenure at Chelsea that has earned him the most recognition, as he helped them win the Premier League, FA Cup, and League Cup, earning the nickname ‘The Blues’.

It’s interesting to note that before KSI, another individual named Wayne (specifically, Wayne Rooney) who has won the Premier League wasn’t the first to challenge KSI to a boxing match. At a press conference held in December 2022, KSI disclosed that Manchester United and England football legend, Wayne Rooney, had issued him a boxing challenge.

KSI politely declined the proposal by saying, “I’m afraid I might upset him for sharing this, but Wayne Rooney reached out suggesting a fight, to which I responded negatively. Frankly, I’m not interested in engaging in such an activity.

At the very same press gathering, KSI mentioned Wayne Bridge as another possible competitor, stating that the match-up had been under consideration for quite some time.
