KSI says he “fell off” on YouTube despite still getting millions of views

KSI, a popular YouTuber, believes his content is no longer performing well on the platform. He noticed a decline in views, failing to reach one million on his videos during the latter part of 2025.

KSI, whose real name is JJ Olatunji, is a leading figure in the British YouTube scene. He first became popular creating FIFA videos, and later expanded into more varied content, including real-life vlogs and reaction videos, often collaborating with the group The Sidemen.

KSI has expanded his career significantly since starting on YouTube. He’s now involved in music, launched successful food and drink brands like Prime and Lunchly, and even become a judge on the popular TV show, Britain’s Got Talent.

The YouTuber says he never stopped creating content for his channels, though he admits his output slowed down for a while before he regained momentum in the latter part of 2025.

KSI admits he was “washed” on YouTube

So, it all started when JasonTheWeen dropped KSI’s leaked stats – apparently, he was pulling in around $100,000 a month! It was pretty wild to see those numbers, honestly.

KSI admitted to a former FaZe Clan member that he’s aware people criticize his financial situation, especially considering his decline in YouTube popularity. He acknowledged that the criticism is valid, stating he’s ‘fallen off’ from his peak on the platform.

I started getting back into YouTube last June. Before that, things were really tough – I wasn’t getting any traction and felt like I was going nowhere. My videos were barely getting over a million views, so I knew I needed to focus and improve my content.

I was totally surprised when I heard KSI say JasonTheWeen is “washed” on YouTube! Apparently, KSI thinks averaging a million views isn’t good enough, even though JasonTheWeen is still making over $100,000 a month from his videos. It’s wild to me that KSI considers that ‘washed’!

KSI’s main YouTube channel, simply named ‘KSI’, is now averaging over a million views per video again. His second channel, ‘KSI Plus’, is close behind, with almost a million views per video.

I’ve noticed he’s been uploading way more regularly since he took some time off, which is awesome! He’s even putting out videos on both of his YouTube channels now, which is great for fans like me. It’s easy to forget that even though KSI is doing so much these days – music, boxing, everything – YouTube is where he really started and where a lot of us still enjoy his content.
