Fans haven’t been back to the terrifying town in From for a while, but that’s about to change! A new trailer just revealed that season 4 will premiere on Sunday, April 19th, on MGM+.
The show premiered on Epix in 2022. It takes place in a strange town in the American heartland where nobody can escape – the roads simply lead back where you started. When night falls, terrifying creatures emerge from the surrounding woods. The town’s residents huddle in the center, looking to Boyd Stevens (Perrineau), who has appointed himself sheriff and acts as the town’s leader, to maintain order during this frightening situation.
After three seasons, the show still hasn’t answered many of its biggest questions. However, the upcoming fourth season promises to be just as thrilling and suspenseful as what we’ve seen so far. Check out the teaser trailer below for a preview of what’s in store for you and the characters.
‘From’ Season 4 Could Finally Solve the Show’s Many Mysteries
As a huge fan of the show, that phrase, “Knowledge Comes At A Cost,” immediately sent chills down my spine. It’s what the Man in Yellow – Douglas E. Hughes, such a creepy presence – said right before he did something awful at the end of season four. And seeing him pop up in the new trailer, talking about his “favorite part” still to come? Seriously unsettling. It definitely feels like he’s going to be a major player again, and it’s not going to be pretty.
The show hasn’t revealed much about the Man in Yellow, except that he’s clearly not a good person. In contrast, the Boy in White (played by Vox Smith) appears to be kind and well-intentioned.
Okay, so things are getting seriously weird in this show! I’m completely hooked, but I have SO many questions. Like, what are those crows? And those glowing worms? It’s cool that some people have figured out how to get out of town, but the rules are so fuzzy. Then Season 3 dropped this bombshell about Tabitha being connected to this woman, Miranda Kavanaugh, from the past – a total reincarnation thing! It makes you wonder… is this town some kind of purgatory? A really elaborate simulation? Or something else entirely? I need answers!
The show ‘From’ has created a really unsettling mood and attracted a dedicated fanbase who enjoy trying to solve its mysteries. However, some viewers are concerned that it might follow the path of ‘Lost,’ which kept audiences guessing until the very end, ultimately leaving many unsatisfied with the explanations. The fact that Harold Perrineau, a former star of ‘Lost,’ is involved only adds to those worries.
