Today, Warhorse Studios and Deep Silver unveiled the latest story expansion for Kingdom Come: Deliverance II titled “Legacy of the Forge”. In this installment, the protagonist Henry embarks on a quest to master Kuttenberg’s blacksmith guild. Furthermore, players can enjoy the 1.4 patch update which offers enhanced quality-of-life features, an upgraded photo mode, and an adjustable heads-up display (HUD) that is now free for all Kingdom Come: Deliverance II owners.
In Legacy of the Forge, the story introduces Henry joining Kuttenberg’s blacksmith guild, which provides him with ownership rights to a legendary, yet forgotten forge – the very same one where his adoptive father, Martin, had been an apprentice years ago. Discovered within lies a long-forgotten dream shared by Martin and his companions: repairing Kuttenberg’s astronomical clock, a task abandoned due to their disbandment and subsequent neglect of the forge. As the next generation, Henry is tasked with continuing the legacy, rebuilding the forge, gaining recognition, and reuniting Martin’s former colleagues – each a master craftsman whose expertise and lore are crucial for clock completion. The expansion offers approximately 15 hours of new narrative content filled with intrigue, camaraderie, and surprising plot twists.
The expansion focuses on the forge as its core element. A highly-requested addition by fans, it enables players to create a personalized home in Kuttenberg. The forge’s exterior, private quarters, and yard offer more than 100 million customization combinations. Furniture and upgrades can provide buffs and gameplay benefits such as faster skill learning beds and overall skill improvements, transforming the workshop into both a sanctuary and hub of activity.
Today, you can purchase “Legacy of the Forge” for $13.99 USD. If you own Kingdom Come: Deliverance II Gold Edition or the Expansion Pass, you’ll receive the new content automatically. Enhance your adventure with Kingdom Come: Deliverance II Gold Edition, offering the main game, Gallant Huntsman’s Kit, and an Expansion Pass containing access to all three story DLCs, Shields of Season passing pack, and more.
