Paris Fashion Week is here, and all the biggest celebrities are in Paris showing off amazing outfits as designers present their new collections. Kim Kardashian, as usual, was a standout, and she’s got everyone talking about her fresh, new pixie haircut – it’s so good, it’s making people wonder who did it!

Paris Fashion Week has already delivered some incredible style moments. One highlight was Nicole Kidman’s new haircut – a bold fringe she debuted following her split from Keith Urban. But she wasn’t the only star changing up her look – Kim Kardashian also turned heads with a striking new hairstyle.

This photo is from the Maison Margiela Women’s Spring/Summer 2026 show on October 4th, and it’s striking how much Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner resemble each other! Kim recently joked on their show, *The Kardashians*, that she was becoming like her mother, but I initially thought she meant in terms of managing her daughter North West’s career. However, with Kim’s new short haircut and Kris’s recent cosmetic changes, they seem to be increasingly looking like one person!

But Kim Kardashian posed an interesting question, as she shared photos of her new ‘do on her Instagram Stories, with a headline declaring pixies the cut of the season, and honestly, it’s the same thing I’m asking:

Let’s be real, chopping off your hair is a big deal! Even knowing it *will* grow back, going super short feels like a real commitment. It’s funny, I recently read that Mariska Hargitay from *Law & Order* almost lost her job way back when because of her pixie cut! Apparently, it caused quite a stir behind the scenes.

I’m a sucker for a bold haircut, and sometimes it really pays off! Emma Stone is a perfect example – everyone went crazy for her pixie cut after she shaved her head for a role in this new movie, *Bugonia*. It’s hitting theaters later this month, and I’ve already got it marked on my calendar!

Kim Kardashian also looks great with this haircut, and she’s known for trying out many different styles and colors. She even experimented with a shorter bob earlier this year, showing it off at a birthday party for one of her kids. If pixie cuts are trending now, bobs were definitely popular last winter, as several members of the Kardashian-Jenner family were seen sporting the shoulder-length style.

Now I wonder if Khloé Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, and the rest of the family will also try Kim’s new short hairstyle. Do they need a haircut like that?
