Fans of Kill Bill are in for a treat! Lionsgate has dropped the trailer for Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair, a combined version of Kill Bill Vol. 1 and Vol. 2. While available on DVD for years with limited showings, this is the first time Quentin Tarantino’s revenge saga will be released nationwide. Plus, Tarantino has added a brand-new, never-before-seen anime segment, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Could this mean we’ll finally learn more about O-Ren Ishii’s past?
At over four and a half hours long (281 minutes, including a 15-minute break), Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair is a real time commitment. While fans have hoped for a Kill Bill 3 starring Uma Thurman and her daughter Maya Hawke, director Quentin Tarantino is being very deliberate about what will be his final movie, especially after plans for The Film Critic fell through. For now, you can revisit the action with Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair, which returns to theaters on December 5th.
