KFC is promoting its “Cluck Turkey” campaign and offering a $25 “Festive Feast” – a complete Thanksgiving meal for those who’d rather skip the turkey. With more people choosing takeout for the holidays, KFC is aiming to be a convenient and easy option.
For $25, the Festive Feast includes eight pieces of our extra crispy chicken, plus biscuits, two large mashed potatoes, and three 8-ounce servings of gravy.
KFC is launching a new shareable box with fried chicken, including a trio of gravies – their classic Signature Brown, White Peppercorn, and a new Southwest Cheddar flavor. Designed to serve up to four people, it’s perfect for casual get-togethers like Friendsgiving, last-minute parties, or just when you’re craving fried chicken instead of turkey.
With recent surveys revealing that 35% of people don’t enjoy turkey and 37% are opting for takeout or delivery on Thanksgiving, KFC is responding by offering a comforting menu that doesn’t include the traditional turkey dinner.
KFC doubles down on its Cluck Turkey campaign
KFC’s latest advertising campaign is taking a bold approach to the holidays, suggesting people skip traditional turkey dinners because they’re often tasteless and stressful. Instead, KFC encourages everyone to enjoy a flavorful KFC meal instead.
If you’re a fan of deep-fried turkey, a few stores in California, Colorado, Utah, and Washington are now taking pre-orders for Cajun-style turkeys. Availability and prices differ by location.
Starting November 17th, KFC is offering its Personal Pot Pie for just $4.99. They’re marketing it as a cozy, individual treat – perfect for a little peace and quiet during the busy holiday season.
KFC is also selling holiday-themed items on its website, KFCShop.com, like matching pajamas and even wrapping paper decorated with fried chicken.
This news follows closely on the heels of KFC Japan’s collaboration with Monster Hunter Wilds, which included a special meal and unique collectible charms.
