KFC is now offering a new, limited-edition Cheesy Melt burger in the UK. This addition to their menu focuses on cheese and allows customers to personalize their order.
The fast food chain is launching a new menu item that’s a unique take on the classic cheeseburger. Instead of a beef patty, it features fried chicken, and it’s topped with a special cheese sauce.
KFC in the UK and Ireland is bringing back a popular item for six weeks, from February 9th to March 22nd. It will be available at most KFC locations and through delivery services across the country.
What is in the Cheesy Melt Burger
The Cheesy Melt Burger features our classic fried chicken fillet, a crispy hash brown, fresh lettuce, and a sweet onion chutney. It comes with a pot of warm cheese sauce on the side, allowing you to customize your burger with as much cheese as you like.
The burger costs from £7.99, and a meal with sides is £10.49. You can also get extra cheese sauce for £1.99.
KFC announced the news on Instagram with a photo of a person in a rat costume wielding a flamethrower.

Regarding the new Cheesy Melt, Dani Ruggles explained that they developed it based on what customers wanted. They noticed people are really excited about cheese, especially when it’s easy to dip, dunk, or pour however they like.

This announcement follows KFC’s recent introduction of poutine to the US, with their new menu items combining fries, gravy, chicken nuggets, and cheese curds.
