Kelsey Grammer is really looking forward to the new Avengers: Doomsday movie and recently shared how much he enjoyed being on the film’s huge set. He described the experience as “pretty cool.”
What did Kelsey Grammer say about Avengers: Doomsday?
In an interview with ComingSoon, Kelsey Grammer – returning as Beast (Hank McCoy) in the film – discussed the pressure of being in such a high-profile movie like Doomsday. He described the project as enormous and remembered a time when he and several other cast members were all together on set.
You know, while we were filming one of the big group scenes, I actually had a moment where I thought, ‘Wow, this is pretty awesome!’ [laughs]. And honestly, with movies like Doomsday, I think you just have to embrace the craziness and have fun with it all.
When performing a well-known work like a Shakespeare play, some lines are so iconic that it’s challenging to know how to deliver them. The best approach is to treat those lines as the famous pieces they are, giving them the importance they deserve. When you’re working with a group of talented people, you need to embrace that fame and play the lines accordingly, and I believe that’s what happened here.
The movie will feature several well-known actors from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, including Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards, Vanessa Kirby as the Invisible Woman, Anthony Mackie as Captain America, Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes (the Winter Soldier), Letitia Wright as Shuri (the Black Panther), and Paul Rudd as Ant-Man.
The movie’s cast includes Wyatt Russell as U.S. Agent/John Walker, Tenoch Huerta as Namor, Ebon Moss-Bachrach as The Thing/Ben Grimm, Simu Liu as Shang-Chi, Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, Kelsey Grammer as Dr. Hank McCoy/Beast, Lewis Pullman as Bob/Sentry, Danny Ramirez as Joaquin Torres/Falcon, Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm/Human Torch, David Harbour as Alexei Shostakov/Red Guardian, Winston Duke as M’Baku, Hannah John-Kamen as Ava Starr/Ghost, and Tom Hiddleston as Loki.
The next X-Men movie will feature the return of several familiar faces, including Patrick Stewart as Charles Xavier, Ian McKellen as Magneto, Alan Cumming as Nightcrawler, Rebecca Romijn as Mystique, James Marsden as Cyclops, and Channing Tatum as Gambit.
Avengers: Doomsday is set to release on December 18, 2026.
