Kai Cenat’s Mafiathon 3 made up to $3.2M with more viewers than 2025’s top subathons combined

Kai Cenat’s recent three-day livestream, Mafianthon 3, potentially earned him as much as $3.2 million. It attracted more viewers than several of the most popular livestreams planned for 2025 combined.

Kai Cenat’s latest livestream, the third and final installment of his Mafiathon series, appears to have been very profitable for the streamer, based on data from Streams Charts.

According to data from TopMob, a streaming statistics database, Mafiathon 3 received 1,112,947 subscriptions on Kai’s Twitch channel. Because subscription prices vary and Twitch keeps half of the revenue, Streams Charts estimated the potential earnings from these subscriptions, providing both a low and high USD figure.

Kai’s streaming marathon could have earned him anywhere from around $985,000 to as much as $3.3 million.

Kai Cenat’s Mafiathon 3 could have made the streamer millions

The incredibly high viewership numbers weren’t a surprise. Mafiathon 3 was the most popular subathon of 2025 by a large margin, racking up 85.23 million hours watched. According to StreamsCharts, around 85,000 channels hosted subathons that year. This significantly surpassed the second most-watched subathon, hosted by Jasontheween for FaZe Clan, which garnered over 73 million fewer hours of viewing.

According to Streams Charts, while it’s highly improbable, another streamer could potentially achieve the same level of success as Mafiathon 3, though it’s not out of the question.

According to a new report, Kai Cenat’s Mafiathon 3 was exceptionally popular. The event drew an impressive 85.23 million hours of viewership, which is unusually high, even for the most successful online creators.

Honestly, to bring back something like that, you’d need someone with just as big a platform – or even bigger! – and a ton of famous faces getting involved. Plus, whatever platform it’s on needs to really help the event get noticed and spread like wildfire. It’s not just about doing it, it’s about making sure everyone sees it!

In 2025, viewers watched a total of 729.2 million hours of subathons. This is up from 687.3 million hours in 2024 and 586.8 million hours in 2023.

According to StreamsCharts, 2026 needs a truly huge event – like a major crossover or the release of a blockbuster game such as GTA 6 – to surpass the viewership numbers of 2025.

Kai Cenat has said he doesn’t plan to host another large-scale Mafiathon event in the near future. He’s currently focusing on personal projects, including creating his own clothing brand, and is documenting his journey and self-improvement efforts on a separate YouTube channel.

Even though Kai hasn’t streamed for more than four months, he’s still the most popular streamer on Twitch, with over 40,000 dedicated subscribers excited for him to start streaming again.
