Kai Cenat is trending online again. This time, it’s because his assistant shared private messages and a phone recording after his ex-girlfriend posted a YouTube video about the reasons for their split and addressing breakup rumors.
The situation started when Gabrielle Alayah, known as GiGi, posted a video called “The Real” addressing weeks of online discussion about her past relationship with Kai. In the 90-minute video, GiGi denied claims she was unfaithful, stated she wasn’t financially reliant on Kai, and blamed people close to him for distorting the truth about their split.
GiGi denied rumors of a relationship with NBA YoungBoy, stating they were untrue and offensive. She also responded to online screenshots suggesting she’d taken a secret trip to Las Vegas with another man and had private, emotional talks with him.
GiGi stated the messages were fake and that she never went to Las Vegas with anyone while she was with Kai. She also said her phone doesn’t have any proof of cheating.
Kai Cenat relationship drama rekindled
GiGi also criticized the people around Kai, including his assistant, claiming they interfered in her relationship and controlled how the split was presented to the public. She believed their personal problems should have stayed private and felt she was unfairly singled out when Kai publicly ended things.
Soon after the video went viral, Kai’s assistant, Brianna Lewis, shared a recording of a phone call and screenshots of Instagram messages she said were from GiGi, posting them on X.
Bri claimed the messages proved GiGi was talking to another man while she was in a relationship with Kai. She said she decided to share them because she felt GiGi’s video didn’t tell the whole story.
Bri explained she started working with Kai when he was 19 and didn’t have a manager yet. She saw her job as shielding him from being taken advantage of in his professional and personal life. According to Bri, Kai found the concerning messages on his own and then believed GiGi tried to control the story after he did.
GiGi quickly responded on Instagram, reposting the leaked DMs and claiming they were fake.
She insisted the way the username was formatted showed the messages were fake, and pointed out the screenshots mentioned Las Vegas trips she never took. She also clarified that the events described in the messages happened a long time ago.
This situation arose shortly after Kai announced he was single. He tweeted on December 27th that he’s done with relationships for good. Since finishing his last stream of Mafiathon 3, he hasn’t commented on a YouTube video from GiGi or materials leaked about Bri.
