Okay, so Q3 of 2025 was insane! Kai Cenat and Ibai absolutely crushed it – they became the most-watched streamers *everywhere*, blowing past everyone else on Twitch, YouTube, and all the other platforms. It was seriously a massive quarter for them.
By June, Kai Cenat had dropped to sixth place among Twitch’s most popular streamers, with others like League of Legends commentator Marc ‘Caedrel’ Lamont, Jynxzi, and Hasan surpassing him in viewership.
Asmongold was briefly the most popular creator on Kick, achieving this thanks to the platform’s multistreaming feature, but he soon lost the top spot.
Asmongold stepped back from streaming due to personal difficulties and the loss of his father. Meanwhile, Kai Cenat made a huge comeback with ‘Mafiathon 3,’ a month-long event that helped him become the first streamer to reach 1 million Twitch subscribers.
Thanks to Mafiathon, Kai didn’t just beat his biggest competitors; he absolutely annihilated them.
Kai Cenat becomes most-watched streamer by over 40M hours
Data from StreamsCharts shows that Kai Cenat streamed for 811 hours in the third quarter of 2025, attracting a massive 93.90 million hours of viewership.
Spanish streamer Ibai, despite streaming for only 78 hours, generated an impressive 51.32 million hours of viewership.
He gained significant popularity mainly because of his yearly ‘La Velada del Año’ event, which achieved a record number of viewers on Twitch at the same time.
The boxing spectacle pulled in 9,334,779 viewers, smashing Ibai’s old record of 3,846,256.

Caedrel ranked third among Twitch streamers, with viewers watching his streams for almost 30 million hours over a total of 635 hours of broadcast.
On Kick and YouTube, Jordan ‘maherco’ Mahmude Sultani and IShowSpeed were remarkably similar in viewership. Both streamers had just under 32 million hours watched and each streamed for close to 900 hours.
If you include the views from his Twitch livestream, Speed’s total watch time for his US tour actually reaches 42 million hours in the third quarter of 2025.

Now that Asmongold is streaming regularly again, it’s hard to predict who will be the most popular streamer in the world by the end of 2025.
