For quite some time, Kai Cenat‘s close buddy and frequent Twitch broadcaster, Tyli, has expressed concerns about Kai seemingly pulling away since he started dating someone new.
If you’re a fan of Kai Cenat, chances are you know who Tylil is.
In 2023 and 2024, Tylil was a consistent presence during all of Cenat’s Mafiathons, often joining in and contributing to popular and unforgettable scenes that captured the attention of many viewers.
Since my buddy Cenat went public with his relationship last month, our friendship dynamics have shifted, that’s for sure.
Tylil calls out Kai Cenat for becoming distant ever since getting girlfriend
On January 23, while streaming live on Twitch, Tylil expressed his feelings towards Cenat: “Hey Cenat, I’ve heard you have a girlfriend now, and I couldn’t be happier for you.
Since you started dating your girlfriend, it seems like you’re in a honeymoon phase and that’s affecting how quickly you respond to calls, not that you never pick up, but you don’t seem as responsive as before,” Tyll explained.
Hey, I dig that you’re into gaming too, but when it comes to Fortnite or running duos, let’s coordinate our schedules ahead of time, okay? As for Roblox and Minecraft, I prefer to play those on my own. If we’re not playing together as a team, just call me ‘Kai the solo gamer’. We’ve got our own gaming paths now.
Tylil accuses Kai Cenat of changing their friendship dynamics after getting a girlfriend, claiming that they’re not the team they used to be because Kai hasn’t reached out to him since then, leaving him feeling emotional.

In a recent stream, Kai Cenat commented on an occasion when Tylil attempted to Facetime him. “Even if you’re surrounded by BBL bros,” he stated, “you’re not going to call me, that’s not happening,” said Cenat.
Viewers reacted to Tylil’s statements, with many appearing to be on Kai’s side.
One Twitter user remarked jokingly that he suspects the person in question is merely trolling, but added humorously that it’s not uncommon for men to prefer being with a woman rather than associating with others when they have a female companion. Another user chimed in, expressing agreement and saying they would also choose the woman over anyone else.
Kai Cenat could possibly be preparing for a unique collaboration, since he’s hinted at streaming alongside Kanye West in Japan.
