The newest update to Madden 26’s player ratings is here, just before Week 14 of the NFL season. Several players, including Justin Jefferson, have seen their overall ratings (OVR) adjusted. Some ratings went up, while others went down. We’ve reviewed the changes to highlight the biggest updates in this latest Madden 26 roster release.

Justin Jefferson (WR), Minnesota Vikings – 98 OVR (-1)

It’s hard to fault Justin Jefferson, considering he’s had to play with three different quarterbacks in just 12 games this season. He had some strong performances with Carson Wentz, but hasn’t been able to achieve the same results with J.J. McCarthy or Max Brosmer. I think J.J. McCarthy deserves more of the blame, as he’s only averaging 5.8 yards per pass attempt this season, even with talented receivers like Jefferson and Jordan Addison. Hopefully, Jefferson will be back on the field soon.

Let’s check out some of the other changes this week.

Penei Sewell (LT), Detroit Lions – 98 OVR (+1)

Penei Sewell could soon join the exclusive ’99 Club’ in Madden, though he’s competing with players like Jahmyr Gibbs, who also has a high overall rating. Sewell’s strong blocking was key to Gibbs’ successful performance – including three touchdowns – in last night’s 44-30 victory. With only four spots available, Sewell has a good chance of making the 99 Club if he keeps playing at a high level.

Trey McBride (TE), Arizona Cardinls – 96 OVR (+1)

Despite not making the playoffs, the player with the most receptions in the league is still having an excellent season. In a recent game against Tampa Bay, he caught eight passes for 82 yards and a touchdown. While quarterback Jacoby Brissett threw to him nine times in that game – the fewest times since November 3rd – we anticipate his overall performance rating will improve as the season ends.

Bjian Robinson (HB), Atlanta Falcons – 95 OVR (+1)

Robinson had a strong performance despite his team’s loss to the Jets last week, gaining 193 yards and scoring a touchdown on 28 plays. He’s on track to reach 1,000 rushing and receiving yards this weekend when the Falcons play the Seahawks.

Lamar Jackson (QB), Baltimore Ravens – 94 OVR (-3)

Lamar Jackson hasn’t scored a touchdown in over a month, since November 9th. Recently, he’s been struggling with turnovers, throwing three interceptions and completing less than 60% of his passes. The Ravens’ offense only managed 14 points in their last game, despite playing against a defense that typically allows over 31 points. This is concerning for Baltimore, who were previously on a five-game winning streak.

Plus, many other players saw their Madden 26 ratings go up in the latest roster update.

  • Dak Prescott – 91 OVR (+1)
  • Jaylon Johnson – 90 OVR (+1)
  • A.J. Terrell Jr. – 90 OVR (+1)
  • Drake Maye – 89 OVR (+1)
  • George Pickens – 89 OVR (+1)
  • Dre Greenlaw – 88 OVR (+2)
  • De’Von Achane – 88 OVR (+1)
  • Jordan Love – 85 OVR (+1)
  • D’Andre Swift – 84 OVR (+1)

However, other notable players received a decrease to their Madden 26 Player Rating:

  • Saquon Barkley – 96 OVR (-1)
  • Dexter Lawrence – 94 OVR (-3)
  • Derrick Henry – 94 OVR (-1)
  • T.J. Watt – 94 OVR (-2)
  • Justin Herbert – 90 OVR (-1)
  • Marlon Humphrey – 89 OVR (-1)
  • Charvarius Ward Sr. – 89 OVR (-1)
  • Stefon Diggs – 88 OVR (-1)
  • Jared Goff – 88 OVR (-1)
  • Kenneth Walker III – 87 OVR (-1)
  • Sam Darnold – 84 OVR (-1)
