Jurassic World Evolution 3 is the newest dinosaur park simulator from Frontier Developments, building on their previous work. It’s a highly engaging game that’s easy to get lost in for hours, and you’ll quickly find yourself needing to focus on managing every detail.
While the well-being of your staff and guests is crucial, remember that keeping the dinosaurs content is even more important – their happiness impacts everyone.
To get the best results from your dinosaurs and build a successful park, it’s important to keep them happy and healthy. Whether they eat plants or meat, a content dinosaur population will make your gameplay experience much more enjoyable.
If your park’s dinosaurs seem unhappy, check out our guide – it’ll help you create a comfortable environment for them.
Modify Their Surroundings
To start, your dinosaurs need a comfortable and familiar environment, or things won’t go well.
Okay, so the first thing I learned is that if you want to know how a dino’s doing, just hover your cursor over it – you’ll see its happiness level. If they seem sad, the best thing to do is start decorating their area to make it feel more cozy and natural for them.
Select the comfort icon – it’s the second one in the menu. Then, at the bottom of the screen, tap ‘Edit Environment’.
You’ll be able to change a dinosaur’s surroundings on the fly, because the game tells you exactly what each dinosaur needs to thrive. Things like swamps, dry land, and the amount of plants all affect how happy and healthy your dinosaurs are.
You can also place feeding stations inside the enclosure. These stations are tailored to the needs of meat-eating dinosaurs, both land-based carnivores and marine reptiles, since they all have unique diets.
It’s crucial to create a specific environment for each dinosaur enclosure. Since these creatures lived in many different habitats, recreating those conditions will help them thrive.
Give Them The Ability To Breed
As the saying goes, life always finds a way, and that’s certainly true in Jurassic World Evolution 3. If you keep your dinosaurs content, they’ll thrive!
In order to give your dinosaurs the ability to breed, you have to check a few boxes first.
First, you’ll need to study a dinosaur’s genetic code well enough to produce both male and female offspring. This is actually quite easy – just gather enough fossil data to reach the necessary research level.
After that, you’ll need to find nesting spots for your dinosaurs. Basic nests work well at the beginning, but as you get larger dinosaurs, you’ll need to build more elaborate ones.
Now, it’s just a matter of bringing the males and females together and monitoring them to ensure everything goes smoothly.
As a dino park manager, I’ve learned it’s really important to be prepared for sick baby dinosaurs! Some of them are born with weaknesses, so I always make sure my medical teams are ready to go and can respond quickly if anything goes wrong.
Give Them Some Friends
While it’s interesting to debate whether bringing these creatures back was the right thing to do, the fact is they’re here now, and we need to deal with that.
Okay, so I’m running this dinosaur park, and things are getting a little chaotic. Honestly, when I’m upset, the first thing I do is reach out to my friends, and these dinos are no different – they clearly need some buddy time!
If we apply this to the dinosaur world within your park, it operates in the same way.
Dinosaurs need companionship just as much as food and shelter. Keeping them happy in the game often means providing them with friends.
Having more dinosaurs and ensuring they can live peacefully with each other will contribute to their well-being.
