The developers at Keepsake Games are nearly prepared to send off Jump Space from the spaceport, initiating early access, prior to its official release this month. In anticipation of this, they have already established the game’s price and provided an update schedule that extends up to 2026.
On the platform Bluesky, Keepsake has declared that Jump Space’s early access debut will retail for $20 on both Xbox Series X|S and PC starting September 19. The first chapter, titled “The Resistance Coalition,” begins as soon as early access commences, while the second chapter, “Atira Strikes Back,” is scheduled to launch by early 2026. Over a series of updates within this time frame, Keepsake aims to incorporate text chat, hangar vendors, an overhaul of ship shields, melee weapons, an extended narrative, new missions, photo mode, and other enhancements.

By Q1 of 2026, the third chapter of the Telmari game, “Secrets of the Telmari,” will introduce a first-person mode, expand the number of playable sectors, enhance the scanner feature, add voice chat functionality, new adversaries, and a powerful ground boss. The developers have ideas for Chapter 4: “Heart of Corruption” before the game leaves early access. However, specific dates or details regarding its release are not yet available.
Previously called Jump Ship, this game underwent a name change due to trademark concerns. Now known as Jump Space, it’s a cooperative adventure where 1 to 4 players form the crew of a ship, managing and repairing their shared vessel. Gameplay is similar to Left 4 Dead and Sea of Thieves, with added sci-fi elements like planetary exploration and space walks. The universe is perilous, and players will face challenges from enemies during ground encounters or while still on the ship during space battles. However, it’s essential to note that Jump Space focuses solely on Player vs Environment (PvE) scenarios.
As a gamer myself, I’m super excited about Keepsake Games’ upcoming title, Jump Space. They’ve hinted that it’ll come with unique, custom-built missions with a dash of randomness to keep the gameplay fresh and unpredictable. With over a million gamers eagerly waiting on Steam, it’s clear that this space adventure is generating quite a buzz. Unfortunately, for now, it looks like we’ll only be able to blast off aboard Xbox Series X|S or a PC!
