Jump Space, previously called Jump Ship, has quickly become a popular new game. It lets you team up with friends and embark on space missions. Currently, it’s only available on PC and Xbox Series S/X, with PlayStation 5 support still missing. A highly requested feature, crossplay between platforms, is also not yet available.
Jump Space on PS5 – is it possible?
It’s best not to rule anything out! We’re seeing more and more games being released on multiple platforms, as developers try to reach as many players as possible. So it’s natural to wonder if a game available on PC and Xbox will also come to PlayStation – though the Nintendo Switch operates in a slightly different market. This is definitely the case with Jump Space.
Here’s an update on Jump Space! A developer recently confirmed on Discord that the game will initially launch as an exclusive for Xbox and PC. While that’s the plan for now, they haven’t ruled out bringing it to other platforms once the game reaches version 1.0.
Not right now. Maybe after Early Access, but we want to if we have the resources to do it.
Crossplay in Jump Space?
A key question for many players of Jump Space, a game focused on multiplayer, is whether crossplay will be available. This would allow players on different systems – currently PC and Xbox – to play together. Unfortunately, the developers have stated in their Steam FAQ that they don’t have any plans to add this feature at this time.
