A Canadian bagel company, ‘Kettlemans’, has chosen to utilize the AI voice of Joe Rogan for advertising their latest vegan bagel offering. This has left his dedicated followers, who are also fans of the Joe Rogan Experience (JRE), quite astonished.
Joe Rogan isn’t one to shy away from voicing his beliefs and isn’t a big fan of plant-based meat.
Intriguingly, numerous followers of the podcast presenter and UFC commentator found themselves puzzled when a bagel firm employed his voice for advertising their latest Konscious Sandwich, a plant-based offering featuring imitation salmon and nondairy cream cheese.
On Instagram, advertisements featuring Kettleman’s brand prominently showcase Joe Rogan endorsing their product by stating that the sandwich is “one of the tastiest sandwiches I’ve ever had.” (AI-generated)

As a dedicated gamer, let me tell you, I recently tried a plant-based protein-packed meal that made me seriously reconsider my dietary choices. It was so good, I felt like I’d been transported to another realm!
Kettlemans likewise shared a UFC-themed meme where Rogan stated, “Even the ESPN commentators covering UFC fights have heard about our exceptional and sought-after gluten-free bagel.

Joe Rogan fans confused by vegan bagel ad
In the comments section, viewers found themselves taken aback by the advertisement, particularly since Joe Rogan’s voice was featured. What made this surprising is that there was no indication anywhere in the post that it was an artificial intelligence.
“Wow AI Rogan for advertising. Is this legal?” one questioned.
Someone wondered if Joe Rogan is receiving some compensation for the poor AI imitation.
“Plant based I knew it was AI. Joe Rogan would never say that,” said another.
It’s puzzling that they’re using Joe Rogan’s voice to endorse plant-based protein, given his advocacy for the carnivore diet. Another user expressed their confusion about this.
Last January, just like many other carnivore diet enthusiasts, I joined in on the celebration of World Carnivore Month. This experience only adds fuel to my skepticism towards that vegan bagel advertisement.
To date, neither Rogan nor Kettleman have addressed the raised concerns, despite fans attempting to reach them by tagging the popular podcast’s host.
