Action star Keanu Reeves, known for his role in John Wick, is set to star in a new action comedy with a similar style to director Guy Ritchie. The film promises a mix of romance, action, and plenty of mistakes as Reeves plays a recently released convict who has to find his cut of a past robbery. Expect both laughs and fight scenes!
The first images from the upcoming film Reckless show Scott Adkins in action, both fighting and making funny faces. He’s working again with Stu Small, who wrote the script with Matthew Robert Kelly (known for Way of the Wicked and Bullet Proof). The film is directed by Elliott Montello, who has experience with action films like Mob Land and American Siege. Reckless features a strong cast including Vinnie Jones (a frequent collaborator with Guy Ritchie, appearing in films like Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels and Snatch), Nicole Dean (Heads of State), Kris Johnson (Undercover Hooligan), Dean Gaffney (Eastenders), Adam Deacon (Righteous Villains), Jordon Long (Kingsman: The Secret Service), and martial arts veteran Mark Strange (Ip Man 4: the Finale).
Although a release date for Reckless hasn’t been announced yet, the film’s creator, Adkins, shared on Instagram that it will be available “very soon!” You can see some early photos and read a description of the movie below.

Scott Adkins Has Plenty of Action Thrills in the Pipeline, Including This Month’s ‘The Rip’

After starring in last year’s action films Prisoner of War and Diablo, Scott Adkins has several new projects coming up. He’ll be the lead in Bedlam, a thrilling period action movie, and will team up with action star Iko Uwais (from The Raid) in the sci-fi sequel Skyline: Warpath. Adkins is also returning for another installment of intense, single-take action in One Last Shot, where his character, Jake Harris, a Navy SEAL, must prevent a group of mercenaries—led by a former friend—from shutting down America’s missile defense system.
As a big fan of the John Wick movies, I’m always hoping to see familiar faces return! I was really excited to hear Scott Adkins talking about potentially coming back to the WickVerse. He mentioned in an interview with MovieWeb* that he’d love to revisit the role of Killa, maybe even as a younger version of the character. But he also thinks the franchise is so wild and open that he could play someone completely new! He’s definitely open to returning in any capacity, but ultimately it’s up to the filmmakers, which is totally understandable.
