As a follower who has witnessed Sonu Sood’s remarkable journey from the silver screen to the real world, I am thrilled to see him embarking on a new venture as a director with “Fateh”. His humanitarian work during the pandemic has already proven that he is a hero in his own right, and now he’s ready to take on the digital villains.
Zee Studios and Shakti Sagar Productions have revealed a sneak peek of the movie “Fateh,” which is the initial directorial project by popular Bollywood actor, Sonu Sood.
The film centers on an ex-special ops operative who investigates a cybercrime syndicate after a young woman falls victim to a scam. Sood, who also stars in the lead role, is joined by Jacqueline Fernandez (“Kill Em All 2”), Vijay Raaz (“Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3”) and Naseeruddin Shah (“IC 814: The Kandahar Hijack”).
This project boasts thrilling action scenes orchestrated by skilled Hollywood professionals, such as fight organizer Federico Berte (“Cobra Kai”), combat choreographer Filip Ciprian Florian (“The Woman King”), and both the action director and stunt coordinator Lee Whittaker (“Captain Marvel”).
The trailer showcases Sood’s character going on a violent spree reminiscent of “John Wick,” as the number of victims steadily increases.
Acclaimed actor Sood, famous for his parts in “Dabangg,” “Happy New Year,” and “Kung Fu Yoga,” garnered significant attention not just for his on-screen performances but also for his compassionate efforts during the COVID-19 crisis. He orchestrated transportation and medical supplies for a multitude of migrant workers, earning him widespread admiration. His latest acting projects are “Samrat Prithviraj” and “Acharya.” Spanning various languages including Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada, his career has been marked by roles in several Indian cinema industries.
The upcoming movie titled “Fateh,” created by Sonali Sood and Umesh K.R. Bansal, delves into the realms of internet safety and deception over the web. This intriguing production is slated to hit theaters on January 10, 2025.
Sood expressed: “Over the years, the affection I’ve been given by the audience has been extraordinary. I’m relying on this love as we release the teaser for ‘Fateh.’ This movie is particularly meaningful to me – not just because it signifies my directorial debut, but also because it speaks out against a danger that many overlook: the hidden, sinister influences of the digital world. The core of the film lies in its advanced action sequences, which depict an intense showdown between reality and virtuality. This one’s for all the brave souls who take on fights that are often unseen by many.
