Jeremy Allen White says playing Bruce Springsteen in the upcoming film *Deliver Me From Nowhere* was more difficult than anything he’s ever done. He describes the role as his biggest challenge yet, largely because of the pressure to satisfy both dedicated Springsteen fans and the musician himself. White knew he was stepping into a unique relationship between Springsteen and his audience – one built on decades of connection and trust. Initially, he worried about pleasing everyone, but he soon realized that was impossible. Instead of seeking universal approval, he channeled his anxiety and respect into a strong work ethic, ultimately delivering a performance he’s proud of. While there wasn’t one defining moment when he felt confident, he embraced the challenge and gave it his all.
