YouTubers will compete in a new version of Jeopardy exclusive to the Google-owned video platform.
Jeopardy! revealed a new version of its popular game show coming to YouTube on March 26th, and it will still be hosted by the iconic Ken Jennings.
Suzanne Prete, head of game shows at Sony Pictures Television, explained that the change aims to honor Jeopardy!’s history while also attracting new viewers with a modern, engaging experience designed for the platform it’s on.
YouTube is thrilled to welcome the new game show, which will premiere on March 31st.
YouTube’s Kevin Allocca explained that combining classic broadcasting with modern digital habits creates an experience that appeals to both longtime and new viewers.
The collaboration between Jeopardy! and YouTube creators highlights how both can boost each other’s reach in a way that feels genuine, proving these formats still resonate with audiences.

Rebecca Black and other creators set to YouTube Jeopardy debut
I’m so excited for the first episode! It’s going to feature three influencers tackling a bunch of questions, and the whole thing is based on fun stuff from the internet – like clues and categories we all recognize from memes and online trends.
The show will also feature video clues from other popular online creators, so you can look forward to seeing some familiar faces from Twitch and YouTube make appearances.
The first three contestants include drag performer and “Monet Talks” YouTube host Monét X Change.
DJ and YouTuber Rebecca Black, best known for her viral hit ‘Friday,’ is also set to compete.
Brennan Lee Mulligan completes the group. He’s a talented actor, writer, and producer who also hosts the popular YouTube show Dimension 20, and is known for his work as a gamemaster.
Ken Jennings, the host, shared that the show’s creative team, known for their lively and unpredictable natures, sometimes presented difficulties during production.
The contestants are usually first-timers on television, and suddenly they’re facing the most challenging game on TV – especially surprising because it’s a show they love. Sometimes, I need to calm them down a bit; they’re having fun and joking around, which is great, but we still need to focus and play Jeopardy.
“I have to be the bad cop sometimes.”
This news follows a recent success on the same game show: last year, Super Smash Bros. player Scott ‘Biscotto’ Riccardi won 16 games in a row and earned $455,000.
Jeopardy YouTube Edition is set to debut on March 31 at 9 PM EST/6 PM PST.
