Jenna Marbles and Julien Solomita are sadly getting ready to say goodbye to their beloved dog, Mr. Marbles.
While streaming on Twitch on November 10th, Solomita shared some sad news with his viewers: his 17-year-old Chihuahua is getting very sick and doesn’t have much time left. He paused his game to talk about how hard it’s been for him and his partner.
He explained that he hadn’t wanted to bring it up during the stream, but he’s been struggling lately. His cat, Marbles, is aging and needs a lot of care, which has been very demanding on top of everything else he’s managing.
Solomita reflects on Mr. Marbles’ condition
The creator recently shared with his fans that he’s been going through a difficult time emotionally and feels very tired. He explained that he’s processing grief, similar to what people experience when losing a pet, and admitted to feeling disconnected and distant.
He said he didn’t want to talk about it because it would make him cry, and he wasn’t up to that right now. He added that it was a really difficult situation, and you can never truly prepare for something like this.

Mr. Marbles, a beloved Chihuahua who will be 17 years old on June 6, 2025, has been a popular figure with fans of Jenna Marbles and Julien Solomita for years. He was a frequent presence in Jenna Marbles’ YouTube videos and even inspired her online nickname. His name comes from a Seinfeld episode – specifically, a character called the “Chicken Roaster” that Jerry worried would come to life.
Jenna Marbles, whose real name is Jenna Mourey, became popular on YouTube in 2010 with her funny videos and makeup tutorials. She gained over 20 million subscribers and 2 billion views before leaving the platform in June 2020.
Solomita revealed after nine years as a couple that she and her partner married in December 2022. She shared wedding photos, including one of their dog, Mr. Marbles, in a stroller with them.
