Rapper Jelly Roll shared in a YouTube interview with Mike Majlak that he’s planning to create a large, free rehab facility to help people struggling with drug addiction.
Jelly Roll is a well-known American singer who gained popularity in 2022 with songs like ‘Son of a Sinner’ and ‘Need a Favor.’ Many fans find him inspiring because he’s openly shared his journey of overcoming drug use and a troubled past.
Jelly Roll overcame a difficult past – including time in prison for drug use and robbery – by finding inspiration in artists like Three 6 Mafia and UGK. He began selling his music directly from his car and successfully rebuilt his life, ultimately achieving widespread recognition after the COVID-19 pandemic began.
After finding success in music, Jelly Roll bought 500 acres of land close to Nashville, Tennessee. He’s turned it into a personal retreat—a place for him and his friends to stay when they go hunting.
Jelly Roll reveals plans for free 100-acre rehab facility
During a visit with the artist, he told YouTuber and former addict Mike Majlak that he intends to convert 100 acres of his land into a center for drug rehabilitation.
Jelly Roll told an influencer he plans to build a 100-acre recovery center, available at no cost. He envisions a place where people struggling with addiction – like himself and others who grew up facing hardship – can find the support they need, utilizing the resources he now has access to.
We’re planning a standard 28-day recovery program, similar to a 12-step approach, and we’ll also offer more focused therapy and mental health support. We’d love for Majlak to come speak to our participants about his own experiences with recovery.
“We went through hell so a lot of people might not have to,” Majlak said.

Viewers loved this heartwarming moment, and many expressed their gratitude to the artist for supporting people struggling with addiction who can’t afford treatment programs.
Mike Majlak has publicly shared his personal experiences with drug use, detailing them in his memoir, ‘The Fifth Vital’.
I’m still buzzing about this! Jelly Roll just teamed up with Dunkin’ Donuts this year for National Donut Day and, get this, they made a donut flavor inspired by him! It’s seriously gone viral, and I can totally see why – it’s such a cool collaboration.
Earlier this year, he wrestled Logan Paul – a popular YouTuber who’s now a professional wrestler – in a match alongside Randy Orton.
